Hot Packs

To make a moist hot-pack...

Take a small wash towel and roll it up into a small log...

...soak it with water and wring it out...

Take a small wash towel and roll it up into a small log...

...put it in the microwave for 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds, or until it's hot to the touch, yet still easy to handle. Make sure it's not too hot!!! Test this hot pack with the back of your hand for a count of ten. If you can't tolerate it, it's too hot! You can use it this way, just like the towel roll for your neck, or you can fold it any other way to use on a different area like you low back. You can also take a dry towel and wrap it around the wet one.

When it starts to get cold, just zap it again!
