Many patients with C7 dermatome weakness find that
pushing themselves out of a chair can be difficult due to weakness in
the triceps muscle. Numbness, tingling, or pain can refer to the
area of the hand shown above. You should
ask your doctor for an MRI of the neck if one has not yet been done.
In addition, if the MRI shows problems at the C6-C7 disc, point out to
him or her that your C7 nerve root needs to be checked more carefully
as you found problems when you checked this area. Another possibility is
Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, although this is less common. |
