You may or may not benefit from this type of home therapy. Sometimes this sort of tightness is caused by poor mobility in the dura. Try these exercises at home for 2 weeks, if you see no improvement in symptoms, then your pain  condition doesn't have a dural component.

If you do see some benefit, then find a provider who can help further with nerve mobility. Many people will get some benefit from these exercises, so you should try them and see.
