I was told I have 2 her. disc,one was tiny other was small,I have lots of pain.Queistion does it matter on the size of the herniation to have so much pain

The herniated or bulging discs may or may not be causing the pain; so many times the size of the disc doesn’t necessarily correlate with the patient’s symptoms.  The only way to tell if a disc is causing the pain is to get a selective nerve root block at that level (numb the spinal nerve under x-ray) to see if this takes the pain away.
