diagnosis and management of neurosurgical disorders and make a special effort to
take time to explain the diagnosis, condition, treatment options and prognosis,
so that patients can make informed decisions and participate actively in their
treatment plan."
Dr. Levy is board certified in Neurosurgery. He received his MD from
University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. His
undergraduate degree in Psychology is from the University of Colorado in
Boulder, Colorado. Dr. Levy completed his residency in Neurosurgery at
University Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Levy serves as an Assistant
Clinical Professor in the department of Neurosurgery at the University of
Colorado Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Levy is the Chief of Neurosurgery and Neurotrauma at St. Anthony Central
Hospital and has privileges at Lutheran, University, Littleton Adventist and
Porter Adventist Hospitals. He belongs to the following organizations/societies;
American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological
Surgeons, Rocky Mountain Neurosurgery Society, Colorado Medical Society and the
Denver Medical Society. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Colorado
Traumatic Brain Injury Trust Fund, and the Spinal Injury Foundation.
Dr. Levy is married with two daughters and he enjoys snow skiing, mountain
biking, hiking and backpacking.
