It is advised that you have the full approval of your own Doctor before taking part in any research opportunity. institutional review board application information

The Spinal Injury Foundation (SIF) runs a Department of Health and Human Services registered Institutional Review Board (IRB).  The purpose of the SIF IRB is to protect the rights of human subjects involved in it's own funded research as well as research funded through other means.  The IRB meets quarterly to review applications.  The fee is a $500 donation to the Spinal Injury Foundation.
